Description
As we walked along a dirt-biking trail, I noticed this daisy growing along the way. I am often amazed at the number of beautiful flowers that grow along walking paths and roads where nobody waters or tends them in any fashion. This flower is the ox-eye daisy: The flower's yellow, button-like disc, flattened in the center, contains the true flowers - the white 'petals' are really rays.
". . . Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." - Jesus, approx. 32 A.D.
